The fragile peace has shattered.
Silhurst | Avrice | The Nothing | The Sea | Hingmett | Orelin |
Silhurst is ruled by the young king Florric XII, and is a country of high mountains and low valleys. Steam-powered airships and trains are the most popular sources of travel. Their natural resources mainly consist of metal, but mining is difficult due to frequent earthquakes which are seeming to become worse by the day.
The capital, Zincthrine City, started as a mining town, it grew to become the leading industrial city in the country. Steam-powered trolleys scale the mountainside as public transport, and the city is poorly designed with more than its fair share of twisting roads and devastatingly steep hills (which make it a nightmare to navigate), but the city is well-loved for its bustling atmosphere.
Barrow is most likely the most profitable and diverse city in the country. It has a lively trade going on with the Lar-knah in Astar Reef City and it recieves profits from the Guild of Magic-Users-of-All-Sorts, not to mention the large magic-user community which is boasted to be second only to Avrice. The city is populated by many Sheil and Lar-knah. There is also a large library located here.
Wellfield is a simple mining town, always looking for new workers. While it suffers from the increasingly devastating earthquakes, it works hard to meet the needs for iron. The largest iron mine on the continent is located here.
Brambles County, as of late, has been suffering. A small farming community that, while it never was particularily flurishing, it managed to get by with the crops it did manage to produce. That was, until the war started. |
